Collaboration with Local Administration

Our organization, PBKSKS, maintains a strong collaborative relationship with local administrative bodies, including the District Magistrate, Purulia, the Block Development Officers, Agriculture Development Officers, and the Police. This cooperation is essential for the effective implementation of our community-focused initiatives, particularly for the upliftment of the Sabar community.

The initiative taken by the Block Development Officers (BDOs) of Bandwan and Barabazar Block to create a WhatsApp group for Sabars is commendable. This platform provides a convenient and accessible means for the PBKSKS team and community members to raise issues, share information, and address concerns related to the Sabar community. By creating a dedicated WhatsApp group, the BDO and PBKSKS team can establish direct communication and facilitate prompt responses to the needs and grievances of the Sabar community. It promotes Problems, solutions, and efficient coordination between the community and the authorities.

The WhatsApp group can serve as a forum for reporting various issues, such as infrastructure development, access to basic amenities, educational support, healthcare services, and other concerns specific to the Sabar community. It allows for timely intervention and resolution of problems, as the communication is direct and immediate. Furthermore, the WhatsApp group enables information sharing and dissemination of important updates, announcements, and government schemes or programs that are relevant to the Sabar community. It becomes a valuable platform for community empowerment, as members can stay informed and actively participate in decision-making processes.

The BDO's initiative in creating a WhatsApp group for Sabars reflects a proactive approach in engaging with the community and addressing their needs. It promotes a collaborative environment where concerns can be raised, discussed, and addressed collectively. This step demonstrates the commitment of the BDO and PBKSKS team in ensuring effective governance and inclusive development for the Sabar community.

Overall, the WhatsApp group provides a convenient and accessible means for the PBKSKS team and community members to communicate, collaborate, and address issues of importance to the Sabar community. It facilitates greater community participation, transparency, and efficient problem-solving.
