Promoting to Higher Education

The Paschim Banga Kheria Sabar Kalyan Samity (PBKSKS) is committed to promoting higher education and has made significant strides in improving the school enrollment rate, particularly for girls, while reducing the school dropout rate. This year, 360 students were admitted to school from the Community Learning Centers (CLC), demonstrating the success of the “Let’s Go to School” campaign. Samity’s goal for this year is to enroll 700 students in school, spanning from primary to master’s level education.

Creating education opportunities is a core focus of PBKSKS, and they actively facilitate the admission process for students in schools and colleges. Additionally, Samity assists students in applying for government scholarships, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational journey. PBKSKS goes above and beyond by providing support for tuition fees, books, and other necessary study materials, ensuring that all Sabar children have the resources they need to thrive academically.

In a historic achievement, 23 Sabar students attempted the Madyamik examination, with 13 students successfully passing the examination. Notably, 09 of the successful candidates were girls, showcasing Samity’s commitment to empowering girls through education. Furthermore, 11 students from the Sabar community attempted their Higher Secondary Examination, a significant accomplishment. PBKSKS provided ongoing support by providing books throughout the year and study materials during examinations, further facilitating their success.

The Samity also extends its support to higher education endeavors. This Year PBKSKS supports 61 students by providing books for higher education. They currently support 01 pursuing a Diploma in Elementary Education from West Bengal Broad of Primary Education. This exemplifies their dedication to providing opportunities for diverse academic pursuits beyond traditional fields.

Furthermore, the Samity Supported this year with 10 students from the Sabar community for higher education in college. This achievement is a testament to the continuous efforts of PBKSKS in promoting higher education and highlights the increasing number of individuals benefiting from their initiatives. Overall, the Paschim Banga Kheria Sabar Kalyan Samity’s commitment to promoting higher education has yielded remarkable results. The increased school 11 enrollment, reduced dropout rates, and successful academic outcomes demonstrate the positive impact of their programs on the educational advancement of the Sabar community.
