Our Philosophy
Sabars are very timid. They are far behind the mainstream society to claim their entitlements. Instead, they are subjected to discrimination and brutality. Sustainable uplifting of the lives of Sabars and making them self-reliant is our goal. We believe making them aware from the childhood against the evils in their society, namely alcoholism, child marriage etc. is the most powerful and effective approach. We foster leadership and ownership so that they resolve their own issues. We assist them to claim their basic rights and justice. Economic well-being is the basic need, even to promote education. Hence we impart knowledge and training to assist then earning a respectable living. We trust they will be regarded in the society only when they have their own voice; and literacy is the most important avenue to achieve this objective.
Our Vision
The Sabar Samity's vision is the realization of empowered, self-reliant, free from diseases Sabar community with improved socio-economic conditions preserving their cultural and ethnic identity.
Our Mission
We formulated a comprehensive and sustainable development plan and implementing it at the grassroots level.
